Frame rate
Also known as: Frames per second
How many images a game draws each second, measured in frames per second.
Frame rate is the number of frames a game renders each second. Higher and steadier frame rates make motion look smoother and reduce input delay; 30 and 60 are common targets on consoles, with higher rates common on PC.
