Input lag
Also known as: Input latency
The delay between pressing a button and seeing the result on screen.
Input lag is the time it takes for a controller input to produce a visible change. It comes from the controller, the game’s processing, and the display. Low input lag matters most in rhythm, fighting, and competitive games.
